Downs – "I Traded My Eyes"

This is the first Susan Downs story I ever came up with. I remember walking across the Topiary Park in the dead of winter, trudging through the snow with a scarf around my neck. I imagine a woman with no eyes who saw more than you can imagine …

(The original conception of her had a blindfold, but that was hard to draw.)

Art for this arc comes from the amazing Glenn Brewer, a local guy who did some fantastic work called AskariHodari and Pakaa & Shujaa. He’s someone I don’t see enough of these days.
